Our Story – Tim and Gina Price

We took over the business in April 2020 when covid restrictions were in place and food businesses could only open for takeaway.  We immediately sourced compostable takeaway packaging to meet the needs of the current climate.

Although it was a dream come true to open our own business the timing was very unfortunate as we couldn’t employ staff members at that time, so together with our daughter Emma, we opened the kiosk everyday and welcomed many grateful local people, who enjoyed our basic food and drinks menu.

As restrictions began to lift, we realized that we had started to build up a good reputation and we were in a position to start employing staff members.  We began to develop our ethos, our menus and a variety of delicious homemade food.  We started to run ‘Street Food’ events with live music and this has become popular with locals and those from further afield.

We are constantly striving to develop and improve the business.  We now have a team of 18 friendly staff members who work together to provide a professional service for our customers to enjoy.

We are proud that our Kiosk has blossomed into the popular location and venue it is today.
