The NobZ
Formerly known as the NobHeadZ, we are a 7 piece Ballads, rock and Blues band from Looe in Cornwall. We formed the band in 2022, and are a group of enthusiastic musicians who came together and have created a cool vibe with our musical talent. Our entertainment includes a range of genres, vocals lead and bass guitar and dynamic drumming. We enjoy developing new sounds and styles and offer witty stage banter that will make you want to join in and dance.

I have 40 years experience in the transport industry mainly in Training and running my own Company for over 20 years. Music has always been a big part of my life, having played various instruments drums, guitar and now a 8 string ukulele and vocalist for the NobZ. It is great being part of the band that enjoy playing music together but have also now become good friends. I have sung in front of the Prince of Wales and other well known pubs.
Bob Moore
I'm the opposite to the youngest in the group. I served 15 years in the army and following this I became an engineer and did this for most of my life. My family come from Cawsands. I play the ukulele and mouthorgan and try my best to sing along with the NobZ

After moving to Looe in 2011 with my children, life has been very busy. Raising my children and working meant that the luxury of singing was limited to the shower and in the car! In 2021 I began working at the Kiosk where I met some of the 'now' NobZ. The band formed and I joined them in 2022 and have not looked back, singing has always been part of my life and I love being part of this band.

Now retired, I spent most of my life in the Digital TV sector, working for companies that helped launch new services including Sky Digital and Freesat. Music has always been important to me and there is no better way of experiencing it, than being part of a band and when the band is the NobZ, well, what more can I say.
JonBee
"JonBee has been playing drums for 60 years starting at the tender age of 14 so do the maths. Over the years, he has played with many rock bands touring Great Britain and the continent and although never making "the big time" has a wealth of experience and still enjoys the thrill of playing live music".

Previously an HGV driver for 30 years I bought the business at Hannafore Kiosk with my wife Gina in 2020. I have always had a huge interest in music but never learnt to play a musical instrument until recently. Simon and his previous band started busking at the kiosk and we became friends. I started to have guitar lessons and we formed the Kiosk House Band The NobZ (formerly known as the NobHeadZ). We practice at least twice a week, which is always fun, and this is how I have developed my music skills confidence and experience . We continue to develop our talent and repertoire and its a pleasure to be part of such an enthusiastic and friendly group.

"I started playing Spanish guitar at secondary school and later had a drive and passion to learn and study Bass guitar at the Acton guitar institute West London. Later on in life I retired to Southern Spain and develop my passion for singing ,and playing Acoustic guitar /piano. Not far away was a fabulous and famous restruarant named the Valparaiso Mijas and Vitorrio one of the Italian owners invited me on stage to sing, and I obtained an evening job at this fabulous venue . Later I moved to Cornwall and have since developed my own song writing. When Simon visited my home one morning he spotted the guitar and asked me if I played I replied, "not for 30 years"" . He invited me to audition playing Bass for the NobHeadZ and here I am.
